Daily loss: equity, including open positions

The daily floor is the daily starting balance minus 5% of the initial allocation. Equity includes floating P&L, commissions, swaps and fees. Equality is a breach: equity at or below the floor breaches, rather than only equity below it.

Example: for an NGN 5,000,000 allocation starting the day at NGN 5,100,000, the daily floor is NGN 4,850,000. At that equity the account breaches. The daily start resets at 00:00 Africa/Lagos (23:00 UTC on the previous UTC date). The simulator labels each completed step as a virtual day; it does not pretend to ingest live market data.

Maximum loss: static by default

The static maximum-loss floor is the initial allocation minus 10% of that allocation. It does not rise when profits grow. A trailing rule, when explicitly configured in a new rule version, uses the highest reliable observed equity minus the same initial-allocation loss allowance. No rule changes silently.

Under the current example version, payout settlement reduces simulated balance, equity and the daily starting value by the same amount, so a payout is not counted as a trading loss. It does not lower a static or trailing maximum floor, so remaining loss headroom can shrink. A request or approval alone does not change trading balance. Do not request an amount that would undermine your risk process.

Targets, phases and consistency

One-phase examples target 10%. Two-phase examples target 8% followed by 5%, with the allocation and day counter reset between phases. Instant simulated accounts have no evaluation target. Free practice uses a one-phase example and never requires real payment.

Each evaluation phase requires at least five completed trading days. The best profitable day must contribute no more than 40% of the total realized profit. Equality at 40% is allowed. A target is based on realized balance after costs, rather than floating profit.

Instruments, hours and permitted activity

Example instruments are FX majors, gold and major indices, during their underlying market sessions. A live provider must supply its exact symbol list, timezone and holiday schedule before live trading can launch.

Overnight holding is allowed in these examples; weekend holding is not. No new positions are allowed in the two minutes before or after high-impact news. The inactivity limit is 30 days. The simulator does not enforce a real economic calendar or real positions; those checks require a trading-provider agreement and feed.

Latency arbitrage, account sharing, coordinated cross-account hedging and exploitation of erroneous quotes are prohibited. Cases requiring evidence go to review with a support route; no unexplained automated decision should be treated as final.

Freshness, resets and disputes

Snapshots older than 120 seconds, future-dated snapshots beyond five seconds, incomplete data and inconsistent values cannot pass or breach an account. The dashboard retains the last successful synchronization time and explains the review.

Business reporting uses Africa/Lagos. All records store UTC timestamps. Read your purchase snapshot for the exact accepted terms, split, minimum payout, and permitted trading policies. Open a support ticket to dispute a decision and include the account reference.
